Vitalyst Adds to its Learning and Development Business with Appointment of Wilmer Castro

Vitalyst, a global provider of client learning solutions, is pleased to announce that Wilmer Castro has joined the company to bring valuable learning and development expertise and insights to the growing business. Castro will enhance Vitalyst’s learning solutions with customized modules and curriculums that are tailored to each client’s unique learning trajectory, needs and goals.

In his role as the primary learning and development subject matter expert, Castro will be responsible for establishing customized plans for learning and development functions for Vitalyst’s clients to help these organizations’ employees increase the adoption of their technology and provide ongoing software coaching to advance digital transformation. He will work with company’s human resources, IT and L&D leaders at the onset of their partnership with Vitalyst to perform a robust needs analysis and help build a customized learning curriculum that identifies areas of needed improvement with targeted learning modules. His extensive experience in implementing intricate global learning rollouts and training programs gives him an inherent understanding of end-user needs through the stages of transition. Castro will focus on creating strategic needs-based program designs that align to specific business goals and culture, and allows for fast, user-friendly onboarding. Additionally, Castro will be leading the enhancement of Vitalyst’s reporting and analytics to show clients the value of learning in their technology journey.

Prior to joining Vitalyst, Castro served as a Project Manager at Google with the company’s internal Client Partnership and Organization Development (CPOD). Focused on researching and implementing customized development solutions to increase the health and performance of Google’s organizations and overall business, working in close partnership with People Partners and senior leaders. Additionally, he spent time with eBay as a Global Learning & Organizational Development Tech Consultant and at the University of California, Berkley, as a University Development and Alumni Relations Trainer, and a Talent & Organizational Performance Training Operations Specialist.

Castro is a graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Human Resource Management and Leadership studies
