Shi Holmes
TRAINING ENGAGEMENT LEAD
What is your role and what motivates and drives you here at Vitalyst?
I was hired as a member of the Managed Help Desk in 2016. I was promoted in February to Training Engagement Lead.
I do all I can to ensure that the client is satisfied with our services to the point of both renewing and recommending us to other companies. While there are numerous ways to market services, in my opinion, when you come highly recommended by someone that has used your services, you go into a business relationship with a new customer a with a high regard and respect.

What has been your best customer experience since joining Vitalyst…and why?
I’ve had a few conversations with customers that went beyond How To support. My best customer service experience came rather unexpectantly. I was on the line with a customer who needed a password reset, but it was taking a while for my system to load. While verifying their account information I saw that it was their birthday and sang to them. It was both a good way to pass the time while waiting to log into the system and to brighten their day. They were very happy with the call and asked for me personally on future calls.

At Vitalyst, we say that Digital Transformation is Human Transformation. What does that mean to you?
To me this means technology is always changing, but it is up to us as humans to acknowledge and adopt to those changes, which isn’t always easy. Digital transformation is a proactive approach to teach others a different way of doing things, of learning and of being productive both in their professional and everyday personal lives.

At Vitalyst, we say that Digital Transformation is Human Transformation. What does that mean to you?
When a company is going through a digital transformation, it is the people that feel the impact the most. This type of adoption can be difficult and time consuming, causing a loss to productivity, which impacts job performance. We are here to help with the human aspect of a transformation, ensuring that the users have access to training and resources that can help them stay productive while adapting to a new technology.
