Matt is a collaborative, results-oriented leader with a track record of motivating cross-organizational teams to achieve aggressive growth goals. He has expertise developing effective sales processes and solutions geared toward assisting IT organizations with developing and employing best practices to maximize ROI.

In his current role, he leads the development, management and oversight of Vitalyst’s Managed Help Desk Services program. His responsibilities include market analysis and customer engagement, as well as process management for service delivery, and the development of sales enablement materials.

Key accomplishments: Matt joined Vitalyst in 2006 as a client productivity advisor, contributed significantly to the growth of the business in that role, and had held several positions on the Vitalyst management team before being promoted to vice president of sales in 2011. As VP of sales, he successfully implemented and built the professional development program for sales and account management. Matt transitioned into his current role in 2015.

First job: While in high school, Matt worked as a receptionist at the school rectory on weeknights, and did landscaping on weekends.

Little-known fact about Matt: Matt’s world revolves around his daughters, and he once let his oldest daughter (at the age of 3) paint his toenails because she wanted his feet to match hers.

Motto/business philosophy: The difference between a manager and a leader is that a manager lights a fire under people, while a leader lights the fire in people.

Toughest decision ever made: Choosing a name for his dog—he wanted a “Shrek,” but he got a “Fiona”

Education: The Pennsylvania State University, B.A. in communications

Interests/civic engagement: Playing and watching baseball, basketball, football and hockey—rooting for all of the Philadelphia-based pro sports teams. Also, when the weather is nice, Matt enjoys fishing for fluke, or playing a round of golf.
