Though Microsoft Ignite was at the beginning of the month, the announcements from the tech giant are still generating a lot of excitement. From the revealing of new features in Teams to the release of Microsoft Mesh, their mixed reality tech, there were a lot of things to get excited about.

New enhancements coming to Dynamics 365
Detailed in both dedicated sessions at Ignite as well as this Microsoft blog, Dynamics 365 updates are focused on increasing and agility and flexibility for organizations, as they continue to meet shifting demands and business climates. Some of the highlights included in the blog are the changes coming to Dynamics 365 Marketing, which can be summarized as “real-time customer-led journey orchestration capabilities”. In April, Dynamics 365 customers in North America and Europe will be able to preview:
- “real-time survey capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Voice to help organizations drive personalized interactions with customers”
- “insights from ecosystem-wide data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights”
In addition to these updates coming to Marketing, Dynamics also announced a closer integration with Teams for Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service, as well as a new application, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management. Read the rest of the blog to learn more.
Workplace Analytics becomes Viva Insights
Earlier in 2021 Microsoft released Viva, an employee experience platform that aims to help enterprises “foster a culture where people and teams are empowered to be their best from anywhere”. The platform includes learning, communications, knowledge, and more. Workplace Analytics is now Viva Insights and is the part of the platform solely focused on using aggregate data to help businesses and their workforce become more productive and balanced.
