Chairman, Vitalyst Board of Directors
Richard is a veteran executive with over 25 years of services industry experience. After serving as the interim CEO of Vitalyst, he now serves as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Richard is an Operating Partner supporting Baird Capital’s Technology Services and Healthcare sectors. During the course of his career at GE, Richard held multiple roles across the company’s global footprint, including but not limited to, VP & GM U.S. & Canada Services at GE Healthcare, CEO of the Specialty Finance Group of GE Capital Global Banking in London, COO and CEO of GE Capital Global Banking in Southeast Asia, and CEO of GE Money Bank in Switzerland. Richard received his BA from Rutgers University and his MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
President, Baird Capital Partners
Gordon is the President of Baird Capital. In this role, Gordon serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee for Baird Capital’s global venture and private equity business. Gordon also oversees Baird Capital’s Portfolio Operations team, which provides manufacturing, sales and distribution support to portfolio companies globally. Prior to joining Baird, he served as a principal with One Equity Partners. Gordon was also the founder and CEO of The Pangaea Group, an international consulting firm that specialized in assisting the portfolio companies of private equity firms to establish strategic alliances in China. Gordon earned a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Chair of the Marquette University Board
Owen serves as the Chair of Marquette University’s Board of Trustees. He is also the retired president of Specialty Brands for ManpowerGroup, where he served multiple roles, including CEO of Jefferson Wells, Right Management and Experis, as well as leader of ManpowerGroup’s global sales organization.
Before joining ManpowerGroup, Owen worked as a management consultant with several venture capital and private equity groups. He began his career with IBM.
Owen currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Medical College of Wisconsin, Johnson Financial Group, Computer Task Group, and Vitalyst.
He is a native of Boston and has completed several advanced business management programs through the Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Owen holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
Chairman & Founder of Acresis, LLC
Mark Hodges serves as Chairman and Founder of Acresis, LLC. Established in 2011, Acresis is a full service, transatlantic advisory firm that focuses exclusively on working with founders of technology and services companies to help grow their business, sell their business and manage their wealth. Some notable Acresis clients include Binary Tree (the Smart Migration company), OneSource Virtual (Inc. 500 company that provides human resources outsourcing on the Workday platform) and AcctTwo (Inc. 500 company that provides finance and accounting outsourcing on the Intacct platform).
Mark is a well-respected pioneer in the Outsourcing Technology Services, IT and Professional Services space. He has a unique talent for inventing new markets and building preeminent, high growth companies within those markets.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors of Arise Virtual Solutions, Myelin Communications and Vitalyst. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of a number of Acresis’ clients.
Mark graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in political economies of industrial societies (economics and political science).
Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO, Barry is responsible for leading the day-to-day business operations, as well as providing strategic oversight of Vitalyst as it continues to advance its legacy of outstanding client service and progressive growth. Most recently, Barry served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Vitalyst. He received his BA from Rutgers University.
