Chairman, Vitalyst Board of Directors
Richard is a veteran executive with over 25 years of services industry experience. After serving as the interim CEO of Vitalyst, he now serves as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Richard is an Operating Partner supporting Baird Capital’s Technology Services and Healthcare sectors. During the course of his career at GE, Richard held multiple roles across the company’s global footprint, including but not limited to, VP & GM U.S. & Canada Services at GE Healthcare, CEO of the Specialty Finance Group of GE Capital Global Banking in London, COO and CEO of GE Capital Global Banking in Southeast Asia, and CEO of GE Money Bank in Switzerland. Richard received his BA from Rutgers University and his MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Partner, Baird Capital Partners
Rob Ospalik is a Partner and Co-Director of Global Portfolio Operations for Baird Capital. He is responsible for Baird Capital’s Portfolio Operations team and activities, which focus on support of and value creation within Baird’s portfolio of invested companies. He joined Baird Capital in 1999 after two years in Baird’s Investment Banking Group. Rob previously served as a Certified Public Accountant at Price Waterhouse LLP. He serves or has served on the board of directors of American Auto Auction Group, MedData Corporation, New Vitality Holdings, LLC and Pentagon Technologies Group. Rob also serves on the board of directors and executive committee for the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, the largest nonprofit community arts school in the country. Rob graduated with a BS in accounting from Washington University in St. Louis.
Partner, Baird Capital Partners
Brett Tucker is a Partner with Baird Capital’s China Growth Equity team and has been doing business in China since he first lived there in the mid-1990s. Brett joined Baird Capital in 2003 and spent his first four years at Baird working on U.S.-leveraged buyouts and helping U.S. management teams develop and execute their China strategy. Prior to joining Baird Capital, Brett spent three years in Shanghai with Pacific Rim Resources, providing investment advisory and market-entry strategy services to U.S. and European multinational clients seeking to expand their business in Asia. Brett also spent three years in operating, management and business development roles at a California-based technology company, Telephia. Brett sits on the boards of Kindstar Globalgene and ACG China. He earned a BA in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School and an MA in international studies with a focus on East Asia from the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Mark Hodges serves as Chairman and Founder of Acresis, LLC. Established in 2011, Acresis is a full service, transatlantic advisory firm that focuses exclusively on working with founders of technology and services companies to help grow their business, sell their business and manage their wealth. Some notable Acresis clients include Binary Tree (the Smart Migration company), OneSource Virtual (Inc. 500 company that provides human resources outsourcing on the Workday platform) and AcctTwo (Inc. 500 company that provides finance and accounting outsourcing on the Intacct platform).
Mark is a well-respected pioneer in the Outsourcing Technology Services, IT and Professional Services space. He has a unique talent for inventing new markets and building preeminent, high growth companies within those markets.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors of Arise Virtual Solutions, Myelin Communications and Vitalyst. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of a number of Acresis’ clients.
Mark graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in political economies of industrial societies (economics and political science).
Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO, Barry is responsible for leading the day-to-day business operations, as well as providing strategic oversight of Vitalyst as it continues to advance its legacy of outstanding client service and progressive growth. Most recently, Barry served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Vitalyst. His prior professional career spans over 20 years in progressive sales and operations positions. As VP of national accounts for CDI IT Solutions, Barry led all aspects of the company’s sales and operational success, and achieved top line revenues in excess of $200 million per year. Previously, Barry owned and managed an IT staffing firm. He received his BA from Rutgers University.
