2016 Vitalyst food & clothing drive

This holiday season, Vitalyst employees collected 70 bags of gently used clothing, 887 pounds of food, and cases of much-needed diapers, wipes and formula for the Bernardine Center in Chester, PA.

For the 2016 holiday season—in addition to supporting Philabundance and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank—Vitalyst organized a food and clothing drive to benefit the Bernardine Center in Chester, Pennsylvania. The nonprofit provides food, clothing and other necessities—including diapers, wipes and baby formula—for people in need. The center also provides referrals for rent and home heating assistance, and offers parenting, anger management and computer skills classes.

In the spirit of competition, we turned the effort into a companywide challenge—lunch on the company for the teams that collected the most for the drive. In all, our employees collected 70 bags of gently used clothing, 887 pounds of food, and cases of much-needed diapers, wipes and formula.

Two teams in our Bala Cynwyd office—one from operations, the other from sales—and an operations team from our Cleveland office earned well-deserved lunches on Vitalyst.

Thank you and happy holidays. There is power in giving, indeed.
