Helping people is at the core of what we do at Vitalyst. We help workers get the most out of their technology with services such as employee software coaching provided by on-demand advisors, a self-help portal and training. We also help IT departments keep pace during large-scale migrations. Overall, we help organizations get the most return on their technology investments by making their employees proficient with the technology tools they rely on to do their job.
But we’re especially proud of the help our organization and employees provide for charitable causes. During the holiday season, we organize food drives to benefit Philabundance and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, and spend time sorting and packing food in their warehouses. Other times of the year, we donate our time and skills teaching teens how to use technology.
Here’s how we’re contributing during 2015’s holiday season:
- On Dec. 7, employees from Vitalyst’s Philadelphia office spent time at Philabundance’s South Philadelphia warehouse unloading boxes, sorting donations and packing food. Philabundance is a nonprofit that works to end hunger and malnutrition in Philadelphia and the suburbs by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations serving people in need. We have three more volunteering dates lined up for the month, and our annual food drive is under way.
- On Dec. 14, our Cleveland employees will continue their annual tradition of volunteering at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Northeast Ohio’s largest hunger relief organization. The office also just wrapped up its annual food drive to benefit the food bank.
