IT support has experienced rapid transformation in the last few years. BYOD graduated from trend to standard, and business user demands have become more influential in IT decision making.
This transformation is one of Vitalyst’s areas of focus for the annual Help Desk Institute (HDI) conference at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, FL. The event will be held this year from April 1-4, and will bring together more than 2,300 IT service and technical support professionals to address today’s most pressing service and support challenges.
We’re a gold sponsor of HDI 2014, and we will be teaming up with Microsoft for the second year in a row to set up a Windows 8 device bar right in our booth. The device bar, which was a hit at last year’s event, will give you the opportunity to try out the latest Windows 8 devices and to find out which ones would best suit your business users. Stop by, meet a Vitalyst expert, and learn how you can best prepare your organization to support Windows 8.

Vitalyst will also host a panel discussion focused on Microsoft migrations (Executive View track, Session 601) titled “Microsoft Migration Success Stories” on Thursday, April 3. In the session, we will speak with two Vitalyst clients about their successful migrations from Windows XP to Windows 7 and 8, and Microsoft Office upgrades. (Thursday, April 3, 2:45pm – check the conference schedule for location and more details.)
HDI 2014’s agenda offers sessions covering everything from social collaboration and gamification to measuring metrics and controlling mobile support costs.
