Last week, we published a retrospective post about our 20th anniversary. We took a brief look at our business – from its beginnings as a graduate school thesis to its evolution into a stable and vibrant organization that has grown and matured with the times. Today, we issued a press release focused on the present, our status as a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner, and our inclusion as one of a select few Microsoft partners participating in the Microsoft Experience Center program.

Vitalyst Celebrates 20th AnniversaryMilestone Highlights Evolution of Help Desk and Continuing Need for Application and Device Support
BALA CYNWYD, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–On July 6, 2012, Vitalyst, the premier 24/7 provider of expert, on-demand support for core office software applications and mobile devices used every day by corporate employees, celebrated its 20th anniversary. This occasion marks two decades of delivering unparalleled customer service and support for technology users across enterprises of all sizes. Reaching this milestone is a testament to the core value proposition of Vitalyst’ business: driving increased knowledge worker productivity by providing on-demand help with the software applications and tools they use most often.
“We have always prioritized the customer experience, and pride ourselves on the near-perfect customer satisfaction scores we receive year in and year out.” – Vitalyst CEO Brian Madocks
“We have so much to celebrate,” says Brian Madocks, CEO of Vitalyst. “Over the past 20 years we’ve seen such magnitude of change in information technology, and specifically in the applications we support, and throughout this evolution our business has grown and thrived. One thing has remained consistent – individuals using these ever-changing applications and technologies need support and value the human touch – the ability speak to a live person to get the help they need. At Vitalyst, the central element of our service is that it is delivered live, over the phone, by a US-based productivity consultant. We have always prioritized the customer experience, and pride ourselves on the near-perfect customer satisfaction scores we receive year in and year out.”
Vitalyst’ 20th anniversary happens to coincide this year with the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2012 in Toronto – coincidental because so much of Vitalyst history as well as its business today are tied to Microsoft. After several years of increasing levels of Microsoft certification, Vitalyst became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in 2008, and continues at this level today, ranking the company among the most highly qualified partners within the Microsoft ecosystem. In 2012, Vitalyst is one of a select few Microsoft partners participating in the Microsoft Experience Center (MEC) program, an innovative concept designed to give business and technology decision makers the opportunity to test drive Microsoft’s newest business productivity platform in a real-life environment.
“Microsoft has created something very unique and special in the MEC program, judging from the reactions and feedback of the corporate executives we’ve seen participating in these sessions. Once they have a chance to personally ‘experience’ what their jobs and lives would be like enabled by the latest Microsoft technologies, they’re very excited about the possibilities for their organizations,” said Madocks. “We’re proud and honored to be a part of the MEC program.”
Today, Vitalyst provides end-user support for the full Microsoft product set as well as more than 160 other applications across all types of computers and devices on the market.
